Four reasons the figure you paid is provisional
The operator says plainly that the amount paid at submission can differ from the amount payable, and it names what moves it. None of the four is unusual, and none of them is something a buyer sees happening. Official LoongBuy Order and Package Additional Payment page, updated 14 April 2026. Seen 11 October 2026.
The seller quotes something else
The price on a listing is an asking price until the order is actually placed with that seller. What the seller then quotes is the figure the platform works from, and on wholesale pages it is routinely a different tier of the same listing.
A logistics fee is adjusted
Domestic and international carriage are priced by third parties and restated when they change. An adjustment between your payment and your dispatch lands on your order rather than on the quarter it happened in.
The specification turns out to differ
A variant that costs more than the one the headline price assumed, an option that was priced separately, a size outside the standard range. This is the cause most often traceable to something the link did not carry.
The weight calculation lands differently
The figure quoted at submission is an estimate. What the parcel actually weighs when it is packed is a measurement, and a measurement can go either way.
What a difference in the wrong direction actually does
The interesting part of this clause is not the money. It is that the process stops. An additional payment request does not sit politely in a queue while the order carries on; the order is held until it is paid.
The notice goes to two places and no others
Email and internal site messages. There is no third channel, and the anti-fraud notice of 27 April 2026 is explicit that a payment request arriving anywhere else, including WhatsApp or any social platform, is not from the operator.
Everything downstream waits
Before the additional payment is completed the order cannot proceed to purchasing and the parcel cannot continue to submission or shipment. The process remains suspended until the payment is made. An unread inbox is therefore a stalled order rather than a late one.
Check why a difference appeared
A top-up request can follow a seller-price change, a different specification, domestic freight or a later packed-weight calculation. Match the notice to the order or parcel identifier, identify which line changed and check the revised total. Do not treat every difference as the same fee or as a second charge for the original amount.
If automatic deduction is enabled, review the permission and limit you set in the account. If it is not enabled or the amount exceeds its conditions, the process may wait for your decision. This guide and its search field cannot debit your wallet.
For a rehearsal, settle the included items and intended packing first. Adding or removing an item can invalidate the result under the service terms. Review whether a new request and fee are needed, then compare the current shipping quote with the measured parcel rather than a remembered item weight.
And waiting has its own cost
The official page warns that an additional payment not completed in time may leave the order or parcel pending for an extended period. No figure is attached to that, so none is repeated here.
A difference is a second conversion, at a second moment
An additional payment is not a correction to the first charge. It is a separate transaction, placed on a different day, and converted on that day. The platform converts automatically by settlement currency and states that the amount actually debited can differ through exchange rate movement, bank fees and channel settlement rules, with the bank actual debit governing. - TWICE
The same order, converted on two days
Whatever moved between the day you paid and the day the difference was raised moved the rate as well. Neither conversion is published, so the two figures cannot be reconciled from the listing price afterwards.
- RECORD
The only copy you control is the statement
The platform holds what it charged in its settlement currency. Your bank holds what left your account, in yours. Write down both lines with the order number beside them on the day each one lands, because months later the statement survives and the reason for it does not.
- REFUND
And a refund lands in the platform currency
An overpayment is returned to Balance automatically and can be spent on future orders, parcel shipping or service fees. It comes back as platform credit at the platform figure, which is not the same thing as the sum your bank took.
The authorisation that decides who waits for whom
Automatic deduction is offered as a convenience, and it is one. It is also a standing permission to take money from your account without asking first, inside a limit you set. Both of those are true at the same time.
It pays the difference and carries on
enabled
Enabled in account settings with a limit you choose. Within that limit the difference is taken from LoongPay or Balance, the order continues normally, and the notification arrives after the fact. It covers price adjustments, shipping fee differences and service fee differences.
It waits, and so does everything else
disabled
Left off, every difference becomes a message you have to read and an action you have to take. The order holds until then. The honest trade is between an order that cannot stall and an account that can be debited while you are not looking.
The notices worth reading before a payment request arrives
One official announcement on this list is a safety document rather than news, and it is the one that matters most on this page: it says where a payment request can legitimately come from. The rest are here as titles and dates only, because a rule in force on the day a parcel moved is not necessarily the rule in force today.
| Date | Notice |
|---|---|
| 21 March 2026 | Shipping rate structure adjustment for certain logistics routes |
| 27 April 2026 | Anti-fraud notice. The one on this list worth reading in full. It fixes where a payment request may legitimately come from: the official system or official email, and nowhere else. Not WhatsApp, not any social platform. Payment itself happens after signing in, and nobody from support will ever ask for a full card number, a CVV or a verification code. |
| 24 June 2026 | EU B2C low-value parcel import duty policy and fee adjustment |
| 29 June 2026 | China Post services to EU-27 countries temporarily suspended |
| 6 July 2026 | App launch and second anniversary |
| 5 August 2026 | Back-to-school promotion |

One order in seven lines, and the three that can still move
Seven lines can appear on a single agent order. The column that matters is the last one: a line that can be restated afterwards is a line that can suspend the order. Every figure here is quoted from the page named beside it.
- The goods
At Submit Order, with the link Yes. The seller actual quotation is one of the four named causes
- Domestic shipping inside China
Folded into the goods payment Yes. Logistics fee adjustments are named explicitly
- Agent service fee
Not charged in that dated capture under the zero service fee model Nothing to move
- Add-ons chosen before packing
With the parcel, billed separately Yes. Service fee differences are covered by the same clause
- International freight
At parcel submission, as an estimate Yes. Weight calculation is the fourth named cause
- An overpayment
Never. It is the opposite of a charge Returned to Balance automatically, without affecting the order
- The final figure
Whenever the platform confirms it Subject to buyer verification, system calculation or the platform final confirmation
Shipping: choose the route after checking the goods
Route eligibility depends on the destination and the items in your parcel. Before buying, check whether batteries, liquids, branded goods, fragile pieces or oversized packaging affect the available routes. After arrival, compare the warehouse’s actual parcel details with the quote.
Ask whether the route uses actual or volumetric weight, what tracking is provided, what the quoted service includes and how customs or destination charges are handled. A displayed transit estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date. Enter an accurate recipient name, address and declaration; do not undervalue goods to avoid charges.

If the goods were purchased elsewhere, read the forwarding steps first.
