One entry, one identification unit
On the forwarding route the warehouse does not see your shopping. It sees boxes with tracking numbers and the entries you typed. The Parcel Forwarding Service page, updated 17 April 2026, states that each newly added goods entry 'is generally treated as one independent identification unit'. The matching therefore runs entry by entry, not box by box. Three different things in two boxes is three entries.
Three items in two boxes means three entries
Say a jacket and a hoodie travel together from one seller, and a figure arrives from another. Two boxes, two tracking numbers, three entries. The forwarding page is explicit: multiple goods must be classified and submitted 'separately as required by the page'. Fold the jacket and hoodie into one entry and the warehouse holds one unit on paper where two items stand on the shelf.
Counting and categorisation stay with the buyer
The warehouse will not do the sorting for you. The same page states that LoongBuy 'does not provide detailed counting or categorization services for forwarded goods'; you are responsible for classifying and describing the goods when filling in the forwarding information. Nobody downstream re-counts a mixed box against your order history. The description you type is the inventory record, and it is the only one.
A collapsed entry fails as one unit
The page names the failure modes plainly: goods that cannot be identified, matched, or stored in time, or are stored incorrectly, through 'incorrect, missing, duplicate, delayed, or inconsistent information', sit with you, not with the warehouse. One vague entry covering three items fails as one unit. A shortage found after storage goes first to the sender or seller for verification.
Four Load-Bearing fields on the forwarding order
The forwarding order asks for 'the product name, quantity, tracking number, sender information, and any other necessary information', in the words of the Parcel Forwarding Service page, updated 17 April 2026. None of the four is decorative. One finds the box, one finds the goods inside it, one proves how many there should be, and one tells you who to argue with later. The costs below follow directly from the page's own consequence clauses.
| Field | What it carries | What a bad one costs |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking number | The match between the box at goods-in and your entry; the warehouse signs for parcels by this number. | A wrong digit means a box that cannot be identified or matched, and the page puts that consequence on you. |
| Product name | The description the basic check and photos are read against, and your only inventory record at the warehouse. | A vague name gives the photos nothing to confirm; a misdescribed restricted item counts as misdeclaration, borne by you. |
| Quantity | The baseline a shortage is measured against; LoongBuy does no detailed counting of forwarded goods. | Overstate it and you manufacture a shortage to chase with the sender; understate it and the surplus goes unrecorded. |
| Sender information | The counterparty when something is wrong; disputes on this route go to the sender, seller or original trading platform. | A missing or wrong detail leaves a problem parcel with no route back; the page expects you to verify sender, seller and domestic logistics details on your own. |
The basic check against the standard inspection
The check follows from who bought the goods. Paste a link and LoongBuy is the buyer; arrivals get the standard inspection on the Inspection Information page, updated 4 September 2026. Send goods in yourself and LoongBuy is only the warehouse, with service limited to 'basic checking and basic photo confirmation' on the Parcel Forwarding Service page, updated 17 April 2026.
- THIS ROUTE
Arrival, surface and storability
On the forwarding route the check confirms three things: 'whether the goods have arrived, whether there are obvious appearance issues, and whether the goods can be stored normally'. Arrival, surface, storability. It is a goods-in formality, not an assessment of what you bought.
- EXCLUSIONS
No authentication, no testing, no guarantee
The forwarding page rules out 'professional authentication, authenticity verification, functionality testing, performance testing, or a full quality guarantee'. The standard inspection excludes similar ground: authenticity and brand verification, material identification, internal structure, function testing; sealed items are not opened. Neither route tells you whether a thing is genuine or works.
- OTHER ROUTE
The standard inspection has more moving parts
When LoongBuy buys from your link, the standard inspection runs a prohibited and restricted goods screen, a basic order-information match, a main visible exterior check, 3 to 7 standard photographs and repacking. The order-information match is possible because LoongBuy placed the order. On the forwarding route the only record to match is the entry you typed.
- THE PHOTOS
The photos are the record of condition
For electronics, 3C products, sealed packages, blind boxes, collectibles and fragile goods, the forwarding page is exact: 'The condition of the goods shall be subject to the inspection photos provided by LoongBuy.' Subject to the photos, not to your memory of the listing. Read the set before submitting the parcel.
Eight terms defined by what they decide
Help pages define words by what they mean. A buyer is better served by what the word decides, which is how this glossary treats the eight terms that run the forwarding route. All of them come from the Parcel Forwarding Service page, updated 17 April 2026, and all were seen against the official pages on 11 October 2026. If a term below surprises you, the fix is cheap now and expensive after the warehouse has signed for the box.
- Forwarding order
Whether the warehouse expects your box at all; filled in and submitted by you, it is the record arrivals are matched against.
- Identification unit
How many distinct things the warehouse believes it holds; one newly added goods entry is generally treated as one unit.
- Basic checking
What gets noticed at goods-in: arrival, obvious appearance issues and whether the goods can be stored normally; nothing beyond that.
- Photo confirmation
The standing record of condition; for sealed, fragile and collectible goods the condition is subject to these photos.
- Warehouse address
Where the sender must ship; you obtain it through online customer service or the forwarding order page and pass it on.
- Tracking number
Whether an arriving box can be matched to your entry; a wrong or missing number leaves goods unidentified, at your risk.
- Freight collect
Who pays on the doorstep; LoongBuy may deduct the fee from your balance without separate confirmation, so keep it funded.
- Value-added service
How much more than the basic record you get; detail photographs, measurements or video, purchased where available.
